I love music gear that is compact and versatile — the Teenage Engineering OP-Z and OP-1, the Empress ZOIA, the Critter & Guitari Organelle, the Korg Kaoss Pad 2S Mini, the MOD Duo... these are all small pieces of equipment that are usually only limited by the artist's imagination. And best of all, they're very portable, and many of them can be battery powered.

Last week I added another piece of equipment to my collection: the Poly Effects Beebo, a small pedal with a touch screen and a multitude of modules that can be connected in innumerable ways. It arrived today, so I paired it with the OP-Z and wrote this little song, "Intersection".
